Hi I'm 4 weeks post abortion but still showing a faint positive line on the low test they provided me with.is this just my hormones returning to a normal level? I'm pretty sure I passed the pregnancy although I didnt physically see anything. Thanks

Hi OP, it can take quite a few weeks to show a negative test, but did they say at what point to test and give advice about what to do if not negative after a certain time? If in doubt give them a call and ask for a scan, it could be retained products.

Can I ask why you are testing?

Hi they advised you tested 3 Weeks post abortion which I did but still showing positive so I rang them.and told them they sent out another low sensitivity test and told me to do it a week 4 but still showing a faint positive line so I rang again Iv now got another test to do another 7days later if not a scan the following week. It just seems like Iv got no conclusion to this whole thing🤦‍♀️

I'm sorry this is so hard, I really hope your next test is negative and you can put all of this behind you.

Yes a medical abortion at home.

Still a positive line so off for a scan on Monday 😭🤦‍♀️

@RoseDreamer how did things work out for you? I have had positive tests too, going for a scan on Thursday. I am 4 weeks since my medical abortion
