Im 9 days pp had my little boy via elective csection.
after a few days i noticed my belly button felt sore to touch, and there is a tiny lump at the top of it, smaller than a pea.
my first thought was a hernia so i went to my gp and she said she thinks it ls either an infection/reaction from the surgical dye they used, or a small abscess.
im on antibiotics for mastitis and she said if its an abscess they should clear it up and gave me an antibiotic and steroid cream for to apply. She said it didnt feel like a hernia. Has anyone else had a sore belly button after a csection?
