Emsella Pelvic Floor Trainer Chair - Have you used it?

Hi ladies, I am a mum of 3 now living in Cornwall. I have had mild stress incontinence for a while, needing to wear Tena pads when I have a cold or stomach bug. I leak if I sneeze, jump or do anything that causes internal pressure. I have been through the NHS as I was interested in the sling, but unfortunately they don't do this anymore as the materials they used to use are no longer available, and the only thing available is very invasive surgery.

So I googled "surgery alternatives for stress incontinence" and I found the BTL Emsella pelvic floor trainer. I paid £600 to a clinic in Exeter and have done 1 session so far, but it's a 3 hour round trip each time!

I run a business called Libra Baby where we import and sell specialised breastfeeding products to new mums. I feel that this chair should be available in my area too and at a far more affordable price! So I've been in touch with their UK rep and am looking to invest in a chair and offer in Bude, Cornwall.

The thing is - the chair itself is CRAZY expensive. And I want to hear from more real women who have used it, as I do not want to waste time, effort or money on a product that doesn't deliver what it's promising. And sometimes you have to take the advertised feedback with a pinch of salt as a lot of them may be incentivised! I also would not feel right charging anyone for something that didn't solve their issue.

If you have used the BTL Emsella chair then please can you let me know what your experience was? Did it work? How many sessions did you need before you felt a difference? How many months/years did it last before you started having symptoms again? Is it worth me investing in this product to benefit my community?

I plan to charge no more than £500 for 6 sessions, plus a complimentary second round of 6 sessions 3-6 months later. So yes it's going to be a business venture, but my interest is equally to make it affordable so more women can have access to it.

Please reply on this thread with your experience. I've only done one session so far, so should have some first hand experience by the end of this month. But I want to hear from other ladies (or men!).

Thanks ladies!
Leanne
