Hi, I’m suffering and hoping anyone can relate as it’s a Saturday night and I don’t know what else to do with nothing open.
On Thursday morning my partner and I had quite rough ish sex (he’s quite big and I am tight) and we did a position which did cause some pain at the time as I think he (for a lack of a better phrase) stretched me quite a bit. Anyway I was fine afterward and as the day went on. Felt good. Then at 4am that night I woke with quite a bad pulsing and throbbing pain in my urethra and bladder with the urgency to pee. I had no stinging when I did pass urine but the pulsing and heavy feeling in my urethra remained and felt worse after peeing.
Since then the throbbing and urgency has got slightly worse and my urethra just feels extremely sore and inflamed. It’s quite unbearable unless I’m sat here with a hot water bottle between my legs, but even then it doesn’t go away enough for me to rest. I have no actual burning when i pee.
Was it the sex and am I just irritated down there and need to heal or can a UTI come on that quickly (it would’ve been about 16 hours later).
how can I help the pain?! I’ve tried hot water bottle, heat pads and ibuprofen but no help!
