Going private or using online testing for PCOS or women’s health issues

Has anyone used an online testing company for PCOS? Or those kind of companies generally? It seems cheaper than seeing a private clinic but probably not as thorough?

I have tried with multiple GP services to get a PCOS diagnosis and it’s a no unless I’m trying to conceive so I’m exploring other options.

I went private in the end after getting fobbed off for years.

It’s infuriating isn’t it.

I'm not sure the online test will be effective but a private ultrasound would be. I was diagnosed at 16. My blood tests came back normal but I had irregular periods, acne and hirsutism. The only symptom I was missing was weight gain. My GP referred me because I was surprised by the results and he found them confusing. Within seconds of an ultrasound the doctor was pointing out the cysts on my ovaries. She described my ovaries as looking like two bags of pearls which apparently isn't normal.
