Stopping combined pill

Hi, does anyone know if it's ok to stop combined pill for 2 weeks and then start a mini pill after that- will my hormones be likely to get out of whack by having a 2 weeks break ?

I am 38 and I have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure (I am slim, active and I have had extensive blood tests to check - no issues). I went to A&E on Monday with chest pains and 190/110 blood pressure, they did some tests - all ok, but advised me get off the combined pill asap just in case until I have my appointment my family planning clinic on 12th March ( I will ask for the mini pill most likely). I am not worried about pregnancy as I am not sexually active at the moment , so that's fine - but will my hormones get out of whack by having 2 weeks of the pill ? I am on my 4th day berak today and just started withdrawal bleeding. I am really tempted to get back on it for the next 10 days.

I have also been prescribed low dose lisinopril today and my blood pressure was 155/98 at the GP today. Weekly average 134/95.

I have been continuously taking combined pill for 15 years, the last 7 years back to back.

I wish I didn't stop the pill 4 days ago and carried on until 12th March and switched to mini pill the same day, as now I am having the most awful withdrawal bleed.

Thanks
