I'm posting in the hope that someone can set my mind at ease.
I ended up going for an ultrasound which showed that I had multiple fibroids inside, outside and on top of my uterus. It also showed that I have an enlarged kidney, a lesion on the kidney and lastly an unidentified mass.
I got referred to Gynae and they said they don't think it's anything sinister but put me on the pathway for a CT scan. I had that nearly 2 weeks ago and have just got a letter for an MRI scan without getting the results from the CT scan.
I'm not too worried because the scan is in 11 days time, so it can't be that urgent, can it? However is it normal for this to happen? I phoned my doctor and they've had nothing back. I've tried phoning the hospital but there's been no answer from the Gynae department.
Just after some experiences really. I've seen that most people tend to have cysts, but it seems to be found after 1 or 2 scans. Anyone had all 3 and it was OK?
