Implant Removal

Just wanted to share and ask for some personal experiences.
I've booked my implant removal in a couple of weeks!
Since I was a teenager, I was on the pill, initially for acne and was later my form of contraception. I came off the pill when ex and I started TTC. 5 months after DD was born, I decided to get the implant (not having to think about taking pills everyday was such a bonus especially with baby brain etc).
Now separated (and starting divorce process soon), not sexually active and want to get to know my body without any hormonal 'interventions'.

Just wondered what everyone's experiences were after having your implants removed? Were periods heavier/lighter/the same? Any weight gain/loss? Skin (acne) issues?
I've always struggled with acne but wonder what my natural skin is actually like now...if that makes sense?!

Mine were lighter but slightly more painful than I remember (had had a period for 10 years though so who knows).

But mine was taken out in order to try to conceive, and we got caught almost straight away.

Thanks! I've heard it's good for those TTC as fertility returns to normal almost immediately.
No need to worry about getting pregnant though, as I've already mentioned, not sexually active AT ALL and don't plan to be any time in the near future. Life right now is work, looking after DD, PT sessions, running and looking after myself after leaving my abusive ex last year.
