Longest period ever (peri?)

Currently on day 14 of my period, that was about 10 days late anyway.

Last year I missed 3 months of my period, all checked, consultant said prob peri related as I'd had a couple of ovarian cysts too that he said can be set off by hormones. Blood tests didn't indicate any weirdness re hormones but he said that means nothing unless we tested every week as they can fluctuate quickly.

Also have other symptoms like a rage I've never known, boobs get so sore at times that just wearing a bra hurts, Ovulation pain like full on period pain, stop/start periods.......

I've been very stressed recently so blamed that for being late.

Any experiences of a 2+ week period anyone at peri age (mid 40s). Its not full on bleeding just ahem "remnants" iyswim but its going on and on and on.....

Hi I am 53 and peri. Periods have been regular as clockwork last one was 3 weeks late and bang I have been bleeding for 2 weeks now any one else had this starting to get worried 😟

47 and I've been having this for two years. Average period is 3 weeks and average non period interval is 3-5 days.

I've been to the GP countless times and tried POP, mirena. I take TA and sometimes even the drug that halts your period entirely. Referred to Gynae a year ago and still waiting. I have been told that this is 'just how it is for some women' and I am raging at what I am being expected to put up with.

It's ruling my work life, my sex life and taking atoll on my physical and mental health.

Same here.. was told one of them things women have to go through by male gp 😱 so put off going again will see how it goes.hope it starts to get better for you and you get your app soon x
