Colposcopy Tomorrow - Help

I've got the Colposcopy clinic tomorrow for a punch biopsy and stressing about it. I can't find my diazepam either 😩 considering taking the dogs Xanax 🤣 in my drugs box (endometriosis stage 4 which is why I have these in my possession) which ones would I be best to take. The last time I had a punch biopsy I stupidly and blindly followed the advice of 2 paracetamol an hour before which did jack! It was horrendous, it's taking a lot of courage to go through with my appointment tomorrow, friend is being my taxi, nothing planned for afterwards bar a very quiet day with my hot water bottle and pjs.

Paracetamol
Ibuprofen
Naproxen
Cocodamol
Dihydracodiene

Hi, I came across this post as I myself was looking for some tips for punch biopsy scheduled for 19th April!
I hope you have managed to cope up after yours!

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can you opt for sedation? Or is it afterwards that’s the issue?

The biopsy will be under sedation.

Can you speak to a nurse tomorrow, ask for more sedation and stronger medication for afterwards.
I will confess now though that I misread your post as colonoscopy 🤣, how people do this without sedation I don’t know! But take heart in the fact that you’re not going through the prep for one of these tonight! 🤣🤣🤣
