Any idea why they would see me twice in a month

Hi all.
Been trying to get hold of my consultants secretary all week ( FT job in itself as they don’t ever answer) as I have two follow up appointments in one month and I am freaked out by it.

Does anyone have any idea why I need to have two follow ups four weeks apart?

At my last appointment in January they spoke of diffuse adenmyosis ( think that’s how it’s spelt ) and also problems in my pelvic area .. this was after I had surgery to remove my tubes. I had an MRI and more recently a CT scan, and have not yet had the results of the CT.

Anyone have any idea why I would need two appointments like this so close together. Not a mistake either as I have letters for both and called to confirm I will be attending.

All seems a bit odd to me. Please can anyone help ?

Phone the appointments line to check one of them hasn’t actually been cancelled, but that you’ve yet to receive that letter.

I did that. And I also phoned the outpatient gynae department. None have been cancelled.
