Wondering if anyone can recommend a good site or online/virtual doctor to get a much needed private proscription that the NHS doctor is refusing to prescribe pls

I just want Tretinoin cream for my bad hormonal acne & Ozempic for my weight loss pls

Were you given a reason why the gp did not feel it was appropriate to prescribe the meds for you? If so, I’d take this on board

I haven't asked for the weight loss tablets to be honest but I know it will be turned down or I will be prescribed something else. I need to loose weight to control my blood pressure

For the cream, they will want me to go see a dermatologist which I have seen last year with a prescription that did not work and it will take another 1 year to get another appointment to see a dermatologist with all the backlog

Is just quicker and easier to go private

I can't even get GP appointment in the 1st place 🤦🏾‍♀️

If you go private, it's likely that you will get the same advice, but you will be able to see a dermatologist more quickly. Or you could get your GP to refer you to the dermatologist and go private for that.

There is a worldwide shortage of ozempic because people are buying it for weight loss and so there is none left for the diabetics who need it to treat their diabetes. Practitioners have been told be their regulators not to be doing private prescriptions for non diabetics due to this reason, so I wouldn't have much faith in a practitioner who was willing to give you a private prescription for it just to make some money!
