Herpes? And Neurological symptoms- twitching?

Hi all,

I’ve been having some neurological symptoms especially muscle twitching in my legs, lips and eye but really anywhere.
This has been going on since maybe end of Jan or a bit earlier. Also have itchy and burning sensation down one leg. Dr sent me for a blood test to check for any deficiencies.

On about the 18th of Jan I got a really itchy and red vulva. I had been to a spa a few days before but wasn’t a very nice one and I assumed the hot tubs/steam room had irritated me. I got some vagisal and treated it and with the vagisal it was okay. I did feel small bumps in my vulva but assumed it was irritated skin? It wasn’t painful just very itchy, I didn’t notice any sores/wounds.

I am not sure what’s going on. I am wondering if it was genital herpes that’s gone on to cause nerve irritation? But I’ve never had it before and have been with my husband for 12 years without a problem!? I talked to him about it today and as far as he knows he doesn’t have herpes and I do trust him.

Does anyone have any advice or experience with this?
The blisters have gone now but skin is still a bit red so I don’t think a clinic will be able to test for herpes. I will call doctor tomorrow, but absolutely confused with what’s going on.

I had shingles 6 months ago and my current nerve irritation feels a lot like just before I had my shingles outbreak but the twitching is new.

very confused!

I’d appreciate any advice and given herpes would be a significant health condition are there any groups/forums to support sufferers?

Herpes leaves open sores, you would know if it was that, maybe thrush or hot tub rash?

Twitching usually is lack of magnesium x
