Cerazette Pill - Nervous - Help Please

Hi all,

I've just started on the cerazette pill and was wondering if you had any side effects? And if so when did they start occuring was it day 1 of starting the pill or 2 weeks/months in?. I'm quite nervous to be honest.

I've posted on here a few weeks ago in regards to the bleeding and I had some mixed reviews, but really just wondering what other side effects you had and when did they kick in for you? If any

I had zero side effects. One of the best decisions I ever made was starting Cerazette! I hope you find the same.

Zero side effects here to. No bleeding at all and it stopped my PMS completely.

Been on it since October 23.

Pretty good from the moment I started, highly rate.

I had spotting/break through bleeding for first couple of months but nothing really like a period and could be linked to existing problem.

Over last month, every couple of weeks I find myself getting tearful for no reason and thought it this a pmt type thing. But I've also restarted amitriptyline so it could be that.

Been on it 8.5 years and no side effects apart from no periods which is always a positive.

Zero side effects here.

What are you nervous about exactly? Someone might have some specific figures or advice to help

@Uncooperativefingers I'm just concerned about mood swings, acne, weight gain constant bleeding, low libido as I have read alot of reviews on here about these symptoms so wanted to know if this does occur and if so is it straight away or after a few weeks.

I tried it for 4.5 months and had almost daily spotting so my GP and I agreed it wasn't for me. I ended up going back to combined pill (Lucette).

I bled for about nine days when I initially went on it and then that stopped and it was brilliant. No periods at all... for about six months. After that, I bled every single day! As it happens the relationship ended not long after so I came off it anyway and I'm currently pregnant with my new partner. No idea what I'll do for contraception after the baby as I'm not allowed the combined pill and don't fancy bleeding every day.

I was on it for about twelve years and loved it. I didn't have any side effects, and only had slight spotting about three times in all those years.

For me, I had a bit of spotting for a couple of weeks when I first started and then no periods.

I think the libido thing is interesting. Personally, when not on the pill, my libido fluctuates quite a lot within the month. The mini pill just seems to even it out, i don't get the super horny days, but neither do I get the days where I couldn't think of anything worse. Plus no periods means regular sex every week

Acne - I had none. In fact I no longer got the hormonal spots I used to get, so my skin actually improved.

No change personally wrt wright gain or mood swings, but I didn't suffer from pms anyway.

I was on Cerazette for years and I had no side effects, much preferred it to other pills I had tried! No periods at all & can't say it changed my libido or skin
