I started taking Provera this morning as I have a special event this weekend that I reallllllllly didn't want to have my period for (due Friday, regular cycles, tracked, etc).
This evening I wiped after going to the toilet and (sorry, TMI) there was quite a lot of discharge with a brownish tint. It says spotting can be a side effect but I'm now worried that I will still get my period, or have spotting to the point where I might as well not have bothered trying to stop it!
Have never taken before, haven't been on the pill for about ten years, hoping someone can reassure me that there is still hope for a period-free weekend?!
