I'm due to have a laparoscopy soon for endo and to remove a cyst and basically I'm having second thoughts

Feel very anxious about it despite having many surgeries previously
Still breastfeeding my 2 Yr old and dont want to stay overnight
And also just not sure if it's worth it or I should try the pill instead!

Anyone had it or not had it and opinions? Thanks

Have the surgery, it will be worth your while. Pill masks symptoms if the underlying problems, it certainly does not address them. A laparoscopy is the usual way endometriosis is diagnosed.

Do you have childcare in place in the event you remain in hospital overnight?.

Yes my husband who is great but I still feel anxious about it.
I'm leaning towards having it, I am just hoping I'm early in the day to give me a better chance of getting home on time.
It was diagnosed with an MRI
