I'm sorry to be graphic but I had a new coil fitted during my laparoscopic surgery on Thursday for other investigations and now pooping is a little difficult. Is this normal?

Did you have anaesthetic, or any codeine or tramadol painkillers afterwards? I had a hysteroscopy to have some fibroid removed last year and couldn't go for 3 days, and when I did I honestly thought I was going to die. Or have to go back to hospital to have my impacted faeces surgically removed 🙈

Honestly the pain was worse than the surgery. Keep super hydrated. Eat plenty of fruit and greens, and take some senna. Don't be like me!

Yes I had a GA. I've never had a coil before so I didn't know if that was another issue. I'm drinking lots of water and trying not to take too many painkillers. Glad to know it's nothing major. Thank you
