Currently unable to work full time due to pelvic floor dysfunction

Hi, I have a pelvic floor dysfunction including slow transit and migraine. I am totally unable to go to the toilet. I have worked in the past part time but recently got made redundant : (I got a job full time which I was over the moon about, as I'm in my late twenties and wanted to live on my own and earn more money. However I've been advised not to as l've been told to take stimulant laxatives every 3 days due to me not going, and just going once a week with the help of laxatives in the past. They said this could lead to enlargement, and I need to retrain my bowel everyday. Turning down the job is heartbreaking as I had goals, especially being the age I am. Has anyone else had this experience with pelvic floor disorders?

Could you take the laxatives after work every 3 days? So that you can both work and take the medication.

Unfortunately they don't work until the next day when I do that as I tried :(

Try pico sulphate, takes 12 hours to work so could take it on the morning and it'll kick in on the evening after work.

Or maybe find a job working from home? I don't think you're unable to work just need to find a job that works for you if that makes sense?

Your heath has to come first.

I would focus on doing what the doctors have told you to do to try to get better then you can worry about working full time.

You could try getting something part-time that you could do from home but don't try to do everything when your body really times to recover.

You can always get another job but you only have one body...
