Bleeding after Leep treatment - what to expect

Hi all. I'm a long time poster but name changed just in case friend sees this!
I'm due to go for LLETZ treatment next week and Colposcopy and already feeling nervous about it.
Had a friend tell me about a family member who ended up haemoraging due to treatment and they ended up using expanding foam inside her to stop the bleeding, she was in theatre for 4 hours!
I wish my friend hadn't told me this horror story tbh and a bit upset with her, I am getting a bit beside myself, has anyone had similar issues? I didn't want to ask any further questions as it spun my head a bit, but if anyone has had haemoraging was it ok after and were you mobile after? Really worried as I have 2 young kids, apparently this family member was up and about 2 days later so hoping it won't be too bad if I do bleed a lot!

Reassurance needed please xx

Hey, hope you got on ok. I had this treatment last July, all was well but did have a big bleed two weeks afterwards. Was pretty shocking but hospital treated with silver nitrate to stop it, it had eased a lot by the time I got there though.
