Hello, I am new here and I know there have been posts on this subject. However I just need some support/advice please. I have had 4 lumps over the years 2 cysts 1fatty tissue (not sure of the name) 2 fibrodenomas. And currently being checked for number 5. But waiting results. 😔 every time I’m petrified, I am constantly stress/worried in tears, can’t function you name it I have felt it. Being a mother makes it 1000 times more stressful as every mother in this world wants to be healthy for their children bring them up and so on. I am so sorry for those who haven’t had innocent lumps and are fighting. I wish BC or any other C DIDN'T EXSIST!
my questions are, those who have had lumps how old did you get them how old are you now? I’m in my mid 30s and started having lumps 20s until now. I don’t know anyone who has lumps I feel alone in my circle of friends/family as no one understands how I feel or have experienced these.
can you have many lumps and they stay innocent?
does having lumps put us at risk of developing a bad lump for example?

im just so scared every time I go to check my breasts. I have anxiety doing it hoping I don’t feel a lump.
I’ve asked hospital if there is anything I can do as il prob keep coming back as lumps just keep appearing. They say that nothing I can do but just keep coming back. I’m just scared to keep having to go back and keep having to check and go through the wait then waiting again for results. (I even asked if they can just remove them so I don’t need to keep experiencing lumps being scared) Please share experience of lumps how you cope. Can we just be lumpy breasted woman and be totally fine? Or will it just be a day when oh ‘there’s a bad one now’

thank you if you have read this. Sorry it’s long.

I had my first in lock down I think I was 36, I've had about 6 since then, I went to the GP and then breast clinic for 4 of them. I'm kind of used to it now! Mine have all been cysts apart from the last time, which was lumpy breast tissue. Because I know the feel I now try to wait a month or two because sometimes they go quite quickly. I was really wortied the first few times but I'm not so bad now, I think because I'm used to the feel of a cyst. I always get them checked though just incase. My mum also gets cysts in her breast so it might be genetic.

Bless your heart , you must be frantic with worry but they are most definitely looking after you by checking and double checking it’s just a stupid fibroadenoma which I bet it is . I had one diagnosed 3 years ago at my first mammogram and I said can’t you just take it out and I was told no if it’s not painful (it wasn’t/isnt) but if it grows and causes you discomfort we’ll whip it out so I think that means they can grow and still be harmless they also said sometimes they can disappear. I’m sending you a huge hug 🤗 xxx

Thank you all who have replied. I really appreciate it. Yes I am so scared. Because it’s constant. I just can’t believe after being worried about my new lump gets results it’s another fibrodenoma but then be told they want me back as one of my fibrodenoma has grown and they need to do tests again.
i am hoping this is fine too. I thought once you have a fibrodenoma confirmed then it’s over. No more tests. I wasn’t told if it grew to come back and I only got it checked because I went in for another lump and white I was there they wanted to check my other ones.
i hope I get into my 90s lol and say to many younger girls ‘ oh I have had so many fribrodenomas and I’m fine in my 80-90s’ I hope someone can say this to me! X
i jsut want to add this forum has helped me so much about not being only one experience lumps and that it don’t mean we are at high risk just because we are getting lumps. Thank you all. Massive help keeping me positive. Xx
