Post pregnancy PGP/SPD and hysterectomy

It's a bit of a niche one... I had pretty bad SPD/PGP after my last pregnancy 12 years ago - I was on crutches for 6 weeks after the birth (c section) and physio for 6 months. I still have to mind my hip and work on my core or I end up with pain.

I've some gynae issues now and one possible resolution is a hysterectomy. I didn't think to ask the consultant about it at my appointment, but I'm worried that given the (longer term) increased risk of pelvic organ prolapse with hysterectomy, it may also weaken my already weakened pelvic girdle. I know I'll probably need to talk to a specialist physiotherapist, but I was wondering if anyone in MNville had any experience?
