Vaginal vault cyst investigations etc

Hi I had a private scan as I have some pelvic pain, and it shows a cyst in the vaginal vault. It's not thought to be cancerous but I have to have all the checks with the NHS etc. I don't have HPV or anything.

This is just my thread for going on about it as I go through it really!

The radiologist said it looked like an endometrioma (benign, bit of endometriosis) but I've never had endometriosis and there's no sign of it in my ovaries or anywhere else.

I believe it's from putting soap up there but that's just my random theory lol and from anything I've read, that doesn't seem to be a thing that happens or someone would've written about it online.

I'm having an abdominal scan privately tomorrow just (God willing) for reasurrance, and NHS gyne appointment on tues.

Individual GPs have varied in their 'bedside manner' about it, whether they make it seem like there's probably something gravely wrong with me or my having to push them to do anything about it.

Anyone had anything similar? It's not a Bartholin one and I don't think it's a Gartner's duct one, not that I'd know much about it. It's on the back wall.
