Pains after hysteroscopy

I had a hysteroscopy today. No GA. Poyp removal and Mirena insertion.
Cramping was quite strong during and just after the procedure but not too bad now.
What's really surprised me though is I've got upper abdominal discomfort. Mainly when I move around. Maybe gas pain? Although in the procedure they used saline.
I'm a bit concerned so thought I'd ask if anyone else has had upper abdominal discomfort after the procedure?
What was your recovery like?

Am shocked you did not have general anaesthetic as had this done yesterday but was out for the count. I was given pain relief after as did have cramps but am fine today. Take paracetamol and ibuprofen and you should be fine. You must have strong pain threshold.

Thanks. It wasn't horrendous, but I wouldn't like to have it done again in a hurry! I was concerned about the upper abdomen pain as no one mentioned that as a possibility. It improved the following day though. Glad you're feeling well now.
