So I know all about a good diet etc so its not that I need to learn about nutrition and calories etc. I just cannot stick to a healthy regime ! I need more than willpower , I need someone to check in with me every day to ensure I am doing what I am supposed to or I just end up failing. This was never an issue for me before I was always so strict (maybe too strict at times ) . Being in a happy healthy relationship the last few years has meant the weight has crept on, the exercise isn't regular and I cannot stick to it for more than a week. Is there such a thing as a coach to keep you accountable that doesn't cost the earth ? I know that's what I need 😣

Why don’t you join the one change a week thread? Making slow changes so they become a habit.

I'd happily join you, @Scarlett89. I'm in the same boat. I exercise (weights or swimming 5 times a week) but my diet is crap and I can't keep myself accountable. I've an exam tomorrow (major stress) so once that's over, I'm back on the wagon. I'll be back Monday.

I know that wouldn't be enough for me😞. I need a daily check in until I get myself into a routine and see progress.

There's some thread bobbing around here about changing one small thing a week, they're being mega successful and it's a really good method

Why don't you join in?

Oh yeah that's it!

It's not a willpower thing, it's a determination and focus thing. It's taken me 24yrs to figure that out. I'm healthier and happier now than I've ever been after years of abusing my body.
