*TMI PHOTO OF BLOOD* is this normal with a late period?

Wasn’t sure which thread to post this in as it didn’t seem fitting with a pregnancy or conception thread 🤣
so I had a baby 3 months ago , had a normal period post partum on 5th December .
4 days ago I noticed pink when I wiped assumed period starting . A day later , nothing ! The next day it turned light brown and since then I’m having dark brown blood (not enough to fill a pad as u can see!) it looks like the end of period ! I’ve never had this before , when should I expect red full flow ? Any ideas ? The photo is gross but really need advice ! Haven’t been able to get a gp appointment so I will obviously ask doctor too when I can

@ConnieC2001 Hi op , brown blood is old blood and after both my babies I had bleeding like this , your body is still adjusting back to normal after having a baby .

When I was bleeding like that it was just my body cleaning out so to speak , it may turn red in a day or so or it might stop and a normal period in a few weeks

I thought I would have by now. I had a normal period last month with bright red , so this is confusing ! I should’ve came on around the 5/6th Jan

Periods after babies can take a while to fully get back to normal in both regularity flow color etc but if you are worried you could speak to the gp but for me mine were like yours after both babies and settled within a few months .

its stopped now, no brown , pink or red . Should I be expecting a period ? If not does that mean I didn’t ovulate ? So confused

You just had a baby, chill lol , anything is possible until hormoes get back to normal did u have 12 week check up x

@Somerandomgirl no I don’t think that’s a thing here we only get 6 week check up i think x
