No period 7 months postpartum?!

My baby is 7 months tomorrow and I've still had no period.
I EBF for only 2 weeks and then pumped until nearly 4.5 months, although i I had an extremely low supply and was only getting enough milk for one bottle per day, so from what I've read not enough to stop periods returning. Anyway, it's now been nearly 3 months of FF and still no period? However for the past week I've had some very very light brown when wiping, hardly noticeable. I've had some cramping on day 1-4 of this but that's settled now. Any ideas of what is going on please? 😫

No advice but I'm following to see what others say x

I don't think breastfeeding is the only factor that delays periods returning- the metabolic demands of pregnancy are huge and it takes a good while to recover (similar to how female athletes can lose their period from intense training) it should come back in time with enough rest and nourishment.

@Newnamesameoldlurker everything I've read has told me they should have returned by now, but that's very true. X

Are you pregnant?

I was similar to you, pumped til around 4.5 months. My period came back around 9 months

@Prometheus it would be unlikely but not impossible I suppose. I have no pregnancy symptoms
