I've been booked in to have a depo medrone injection in the vagina next Thursday as I have nerve pain and other symptoms after childbirth (6 years on). Apparently this will be into the pudendal nerve. Has anyone has this? I'm nervous about the procedure but also about the risks it carries and whether this can also harm the nerve permanently , and therefore sexual function? I did ask the consultant but he kind of batted the question away.
