Extremely worried - nipple / breast changes

Hi all,
It’s taken a lot for me to type this and basically admit it.
Long story short- also I suffer with health anxiety and I’m 31
End of November I had a sore right arm/shoulder/chest it wasn’t bad but enough to know it’s there.
I then started to check the arm pit for lumps incase I was missing something.
This lead to me then checking my breast.

Now my nipple/areola on my right has always been a little bigger than my left. I have small breasts to (a cup).
However I have noticed that the nipple
is more enlarged than usual… when errect
its more pointing to.
Then I spiralled with my health anxiety,
I booked an appointment to see my GP last week, she felt my breasts. She stated she couldn’t feel anything to worry about but that I have grisly breast tissue in both breasts and she reassured me this is normal. She booked me in to see her again in two weeks time (to ensure I’m ok with my health anxiety).

With this nipple issue it comes with some random burning pains, really random times. Sometimes my breast is aching. My chest is tight (but this is from anxiety I’m sure). I’m stressing it’s something along the lines of IBC…..

So, I’m guessing has anyone ever had one nipple enlarge? There is no turning onwards or discharge yet.
I am booked into see the Nurse on Tuesday and I plan to leave with a referral to the breast clinic.

Anyone? 😞

You don't have IBC. You have a muscle injury and severe anxiety. I remember your previous thread.

The more you seek reassurance the more you feed this anxiety. You're basically training your brain to be anxious right now.

I hope your GP can get you referred for psychological support to address the anxiety because this sounds like a very difficult way to live and you deserve to live in peace. 💐

Hi @quarrelmerchant ,
I really, really hope this is the case. However my breast and nipple definitely have changes now…
