I have painful lymph nodes after drinking wine and it was not a lot and I'm worried it's lymphoma, they're swollen in groin and neck and I saw the dr the other day and she said she felt it and nothing to worry about but they were there, so worried as I Google if they hurt after drinking without lymphoma and I can't find it to reassure me

Given alcohol's suppressive effect on the immune system, a regular drinker might experience an impaired immune response. As a result, their body might struggle to combat illnesses, leading to more frequent or prolonged swelling of the lymph nodes in response to infections

My DM had lymphoma and she also enjoyed wine at times and never mentioned this. Infection causes tender lymph nodes. Hers were never painful.
