Hi,
I got the copper coil fitted a few months ago. I believed it was going fine other than a slightly heavier period, regular spotting and periods lasting longer. However, I've noticed that after every period I now get cystitis. The GP's only response was that I must have an STI and not cystitis (which I didn't have) so I'm a bit floored.
I don't know how there could be a link and I can't find anything about it anywhere but wondered if anyone else had experienced this?
The cystitis symptoms are really hard to manage and wipe me out for days so I really want to get them under control.
Doctors haven't really helped with my concerns for some reason.
