Too much oestrogel?

I am really struggling to get the dosage right with my oestrogel.

My main issue when I started on it was bad anxiety (something I'd never had before perimenopause)

I started on two pumps a couple of years ago and after a few months seemed more settled. Then we started having the supply issues and I was on the cylindrical bottles, and it all went tits up. I was having bad mood swings/depression and had to increase the dose to three on those bottles because the amount dispensed wasn't right.

I went back on the original bottles for a few months and really improved. More recently I've had the conical bottles with the swirl on the label and gone downhill again so increased dose to 4 pumps and I'm in tears every day.

I'm so sick of it, I just can't seem to get the dose right for longer than a couple of months and I don't know whether to reduce it right down, come off it altogether or what. It just all feels like a guessing game and I feel like shit.

There’s a long-running new oestrogel bottle issues thread. I will see if I can find a link.

Oh yes I'm on that myself, I've no doubt the bottles are causing issues but my main question is whether having too much oestrogel can cause mood swings/depression as well as having too little.
