Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had late periods for taking evening primrose tablets from boots?
I took pregnacare and they messed up my cycle, when I stopped taking them I started taking evening primrose and now my period is late by 33 days, I’m not pregnant but I’ve now heard this can also mess your cycles up and was wondering if anyone is in the same boat, or had been as this hole journey has been one big mess up.
my periods were normal ish, I had just come off the pill in may, had 3 normal periods then took pregnacare had a period that was late by 7 weeks, stopped taking it once I realised 3 weeks in.
now taken evening primrose and it has seem to do the same effect.
any help would be great, I’m just at my wits end.
try to get my body ready for having a baby, instead mess up my cycles

No, it didn’t affect my cycle.

Yes I had continual light bleeding until I stopped taking them, and then returned to normal. Still don’t understand why though.

No, no supplements have ever affected my period to me knowledge.
