Hi all I'm 38, I've had a cyst on my right ovary for over 10 years now and been told in the last few years I also have a fibroid.
I have always suffered from period pain, and heavy periods but usually have a period every 30 days or so.
A few years ago I started bleeding in between periods and I ended up having a scan followed by a colonoscopy and a biopsy of the womb, all came back ok and the bleeding stopped.
Fast forward to September this year and i had some spotting in between periods, i reached out to the dr as i was over due a blood test and scan for my annual gyne checkup so this was arranged, my bloods came back ok apart from low folic acid and my scan last week still showed the simple cyst and fibroid but for the past 10 days ive been bleeding/ spotting (its pink/brown). its not alot of blood and its only really when wiping but i was due on Sunday just gone and yet still not on but i have had some cramps an bad back as i usually get but im still only spotting.
i know the scan and blood test results were reassuring but as my dad passed from cancer quite young im so prettified. has anyone had anything similar?
