Bartholin cyst/ abcess help??

Hi, I’m 80% sure I have a bartholin cyst. It’s getting larger by the day and more and more painful. I’m having the regular baths and taking pain killers but it’s not helping. From what I read, it should naturally rupture and the pain will subside. Can I do anything to encourage this? I’d rather not go to the GP. They make patients feel like a burden so I’m uncomfortable even calling

DD currently has one of these. She’s been in agony and has just been prescribed antibiotics after a visit to the GP. She certainly wasn’t made to feel that she was wasting anyone’s time as it was infected. She’s to go back to the GP if it’s not improving after 24 hours of antibiotics.

@Funderthighs im so sorry your DD is in the same position. I can’t believe how painful it was. Mine burst late last night. I did call the GP in the end and I’ve got antibiotics.
