Bowel endo and problems passing stools

Hi, sorry for the lengthy message in advance.

I've recently been having trouble going to the toilet. Feel like I'm never completely empty when passing stools. Feels very tight to go and when I do it's like pellets. Sorry for Tmi.

I have deep infiltrating bowel endometriosis which also means that my left ovary is tethered to my bowel. Found out about this nearly a year ago during a routine gynae appointment where they shared my mri results from the year before. Was quite annoyed at how they hadn't informed me before and when I tried to contact them I got nowhere. At that appointment where they told me they offered to start treatment via prostap injections monthly to put my ovaries to sleep and induce chemical menopause. I started that and am waiting for surgery to remove the lesions but as it is around my bowels they have said that surgery is a while away as they need gynae surgeons and bowel surgeons as there is a risk of damage to my bowels and needing a stoma bag.

The pain is excruciating even though I'm on menopause as I still have monthly bleeds which they completed a uterine biopsy to figure out but that came back normal so no reason why I'm still bleeding. The suggested getting a mirena coil which I dont want as hormones ruin my mental health and with everything going on I cant deal with another dip.

I'm just now struggling with it all. I cant stand for more than a few minutes without feeling like my lower back is going to snap in half. My pelvis feels heavy all the time but worse when standing. Feel nauseous, sick with pain often. Horrible excruciating cramps that come on without warning and I'm having more bad days than good now.

I'm just worried about this new problem with going to the toilet. I have had trouble with going but usually when I'm on my period or having a flare up or when I've taken cocodamol. But lately, say the last few weeks I've noticed I'm struggling every time. I feel like I always need to empty my bowels and I'm never empty. Feel like theres an elastic band around the rectum that squeezes too tight that I cant get past.

Another weird thing which I apologise but I want to know if this is normal or not. I feel like sometimes I pass wind through the front? I dont know if this is even possible or if it's in my head but it definitely feels like it's coming from the front.

Help, anyone?

Did t want to read and run! Sorry you are going through it. Have you had fit test and colonoscopies? I have similar symptoms and im
wondering if it’s endo related!

Thanks for replying. After speaking to the gynae, my surgery has been expedited for this week and I'm hoping it will help with symptoms. Worried about what they'll find when they go in

Good luck Missmoo123 after years of digestive and gynae issues I too discovered that I have deep endometriosis via a mri scan.
My uterus is very retroverted and they can barely see my left ovary so I fear it’s fused to my bowel or uterus. I also have a nodule in the pouch of douglas (which I believe is located near the rectal area?) and I too experience trouble passing stool (even though mine are super soft, like toothpaste, sorry if that’s tmi!), I’m concerned it’s all fused and causing my daily digestive problems.

It is just awful they never mentioned your mri results to you after you had the scan. I’m not at all surprised tbh, healthcare for endometriosis is just atrocious. It’s taken me 20 years to get diagnosed and I’m still get to get a date for a laparoscopy.
