So for the whole of this year I've had such uncomfortable pain under the left side of my rib cage (under my left boob) it's such a weird pressure type of pain where I just want to grab whatever it is inside and rip it out???

It's so hard to explain how it feels buts it just not right

I have had blood works which said my red blood cells are larger than normal but my B12 and folate levels are normal??, ultrasound recently said I have a mild fatty liver and a small cyst on my right ovary but it's only 1.6cm... my doctor said these results don't help with knowing what's wrong. Also when my doctor press in my abdomen on the right side it hurt really bad..??

Anyone has this horrible problem it's making me depressed and I stuffer from anxiety so it doesn't help

@N0tfinished I hope that goes all well for you. How did you know something was up with your gallbladder? Would it not show on an ultrasound?

Also was the pain on the left side yeah?

It started in my back between the shoulder blades and moved to my side. Yes, kind of directly under my left boob. I was diagnosed with ultrasound.

I had a pain like this for around 6 months about 4 years ago. It wasn't there all the time but I felt it almost every day for hours at a time. When it went down my left arm too I ended up in A&E having heart tests, but all ok. Eventually the pain went away.
When it started up again this year, I wasn't too worried. Again it lasted several months and has now disappeared. I've decided it must be something muscular, possibly stress-related. Very odd as it was quite intense at times.
Hope you get to the bottom of it!

I got a pain in a similar place at a point when I spent time in bed following an operation. It took me a while to realise that this was where I was resting my iPad.

Have you seen a physio OP?
It could be your ribs are sore and pulling on the tendons and muscles in your chest.
That's what my pain was.
Also stress from being tense and unaware.

Someone recommended this physio video on mumsnet a while back for costochondritis.

I had similar pain but on my right. I just followed the stretching exercises he mentioned and things improved rapidly. I didn't get the thing for the back he mentions. It's a short video. I didn't have a diagnosis just suspected that's what it was.

I had this and it improved slightly when I tarted doing yoga. However, if I do a pose where I'm forced to bend significantly to the left (and at a particular side angle) I am in agony - it feels like something flips out from under my rib and takes my breath away. Never got to the bottom of it.
