Bleeding

Sorry if this is too much info

I've been bleeding when I wipe myself after having a poo. The blood is not in the poo itself. Sometimes if the bowel movement is a little uncomfortable there is quite a bit of blood.

I've also had "low level" stomach aches - not too bad or my tummy feeling a little sore.

I really don't want to be examined by a GP. Does anyone know if I could just take a poo sample to the surgery instead?

I have had this when things are a bit uncomfortable and put it down to things being grazed and a bit sore. You should get checked if you are worried as that worry won’t go away- you could always get a telephone apt with the GP and if they are worried you can prepare yourself for a face to face apt/examinations to help you manage it?
