Subserosal fibroid or endometriosis ? TTC

Hi - I will try and keep this short
I'm 35 with PCOS but regular cycles. I had a transvaginal ultrasound scan because of bleeding between periods. They found a polyp which I will likely need a hysteroscopy for.

In addition, they also found a left adnexal nodule near the ovary which the radiologist said could be endometriosis. I had had an NHS scan earlier this year but done by a technician which reported this as a subserosal fibroid and said it was nothing to worry about...

I am confused. They are doing a repeat scan. I don't really have any symptoms of fibroids or endometriosis - sometimes periods are abit painful and I do sometimes get pain during sex but I sort of thought that was normal/ expected.

Does anyone have any experiences of either endometriosis or fibroids?
I had the scan privately as currently TTC

Evening, I have endometriosis in the form of ovarian 'chocolate cysts'. I'm not in masses of pain but will get pains now and then that are quite sharp and some sex can be uncomfortable. Hope that helps in some way. At present I have a cyst measuring 9cm on one ovary and another on the other that's 3 and a half

Have you had any bloods taken as raised CA125 can be a marker for endo?

I sometimes get abit of pain during sex but didn't really think much of it.

I haven't had a Ca125 but this has all been done privately so abit worried about the costs as I pay myself.

I'm just confused as on my first scan the NHS sonographer said it was definitely a fibroid and nothing to worry about. Then on the private consultant said it could be endometriosis but I guess there could be other causes?
