HPV and abnormal smear - 3 years

Hello
This is my first time posting and just wanted reassurance or information.

In 2021 I had a smear test and it came back HPV positive.

in 2022 I had a smear test and it came back HPV positive and cell changes. I had a colposcopy and the changed were graded as CIN 1 so no treatment needed.

I have recently had another smear and it came back HPV positive and cell changes. Has this happened to anyone else? Do they treat because there are changes two years in a row?

Depends what the changes are (if any), sometimes they treat and sometimes they just wait and see with annual smears.

Most CIN 1 resolve spontaneously I believe and a few will get graded as CIN 2 or 3 and be treated.

I had HPV+ CIN 1 last year, need another smear imminently so will likely be in the same position.

I am in a similar position, last 2 smears have come back HPV positive ☹️.
I have read, it’s harder for peri menopausal women to naturally clear this. Also can be impacted by stress ( of which I have a lot ).

I was reading a thread on here about people trying AHCC and read up on it.

There are reviews out there where people have cleared HPV using the AHCC vitamin. I’m trying it. It’s expensive but worth trying form me.

I googled and am trying the ones from Time Health, they are available from lots of different places including Amazon at various prices and strengths.
Within a short time of taking AHCC I’ve noticed positive changes in another condition I had and have so far managed to stay free of bugs.

Theyre not a magic cure and work by boosting your own immune system to fight HPV. I’m due a smear next summer and praying it will be negative.

I went to colposcopy for about 8 years either every 6 months or once a year but they never wanted to operate even though I had changed year after year. Last two times the changes had cleared by themselves but still HPV positive. After my baby I had smear and HPV was negative so they didn't send me to colposcopy anymore.

It depends on the grade of the changes.
