Recurrent ovarian cysts

Hi I'm hoping someone will be able to share some experiences with me.

I had a large cyst removed in May 2022, 3 months later I was back at the doc with very similar symptoms and they discovered another cyst. Again of substantial size and I had my second surgery in September.

During that surgery they removed the large one and noted there was a small (2cm) which they left. No endo, no PCOS.

I have been on the pill since the surgery but my 2cm cyst is now nearly 7 and side effects are awful. I'm looking at more surgery.

They've never addressed the root cause and I'm arguing that they should just remove the ovary - no issues with the other one, only ever the one side but they aren't keen.

Had anyone had similar, know why they may be coming quite so quickly? Just totally lost and want to not keep undergoing surgeries.

Thank you.

Hey I know this is an old thread but wondering if you had gotten any answers?
I'm also getting recurring cysts and wondering what to do surgery wise.
