Sorry, hoping for advice or ideally reassurance that everything's fine and it's just my anxiety...I have health anxiety which got worse after a recent miscarriage, please be kind.

This is my first period after surgical management of a MMC in mid October.

Day 1 was moderate/heavy bleeding and some cramps but not too different from my usual periods. Day 2 moderate to light bleeding and no cramps, as it is normally the case with my period. Today Day 3 suddenly quite heavy bleeding that started this morning (changing pad every 2 hours since 8am this morning) and cramps, not usual for me for Day 3 of my period. I also feel lightheaded and dizzy. I'm panicking a bit....should I seek medical help? Can this be serious?

I think that if you are bleeding through a pad every 1-2 hours then it's recommended to seek advice. Especially with dizziness. Can you ring 111 and see if they can assist?
