I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy 3.5 years ago due to endometrial cancer.

You must take it easy afterwards. No lifting at all. I was able to take gentle walks within a few days. Be prepared for wind. They pump you full of air when they do the op. Peppermint tea helps. How long are you going to be in hospital for? I was there one night so was home in my own surroundings the next day which was nicer than being in hospital.

Good luck, hope it goes well.

Thank you!
Went well I think. Definitely feel the pain! But glad that bit is over.
