First yearly smear

Last year my smear came back HPV positive. I had to have a colposcopy and a biopsy taken. The results of it were CIN1 and to have another smear in 1 years tone.

I have just had my smear and the nurse seemed reluctant/unable to answer my questions about whether I'd have to return for further treatment and how likely it is that the HPV would have gone.

I'm a little worried about the results and whether the staging has gotten worse I.e CIN 2/3 which would then probably mean having LLETZ procedure.

Has anyone else had a smear while at CIN1 and the HPV has cleared within a year?

I had a colposcopy showing cin1 which was cleared at my next smear 6m later. If it hasn’t cleared they’ll have you back in for colposcopy.

I did @alwaysinmyoodie . The nurse doing the smear wouldn’t have any info so was probably just not able to answer. Hope it comes back clear for you.

Obviously I'm hoping my smart comes back clear but I have an awful feeling it won't.
