I've always had great skin and now at the age of 32 (!!!) I am experiencing regular spots all over my cheeks and jaw.

I have 1 DC who is 14 months and it seems to have started since giving birth,

Worse before period but also throughout the month.

I live an extremely healthy lifestyle- don't smoke, very rarely drink, eat super healthy, exercise, sleep well

Any idea what could have triggered this ???

Cheek and jaw spots are often hormonal .. worth going to the GP, they may be able to give you something to balance your hormones..if you don’t fancy that then I have found that reducing dairy helped my skin quite a bit .

I had terrible acne around the same age (had always had good skin, the odd spot here and there but nothing awful). It was awful, sore and cystic spots mainly round the chin and mouth. I believe mine were bought on by stress, I had a lot going on in my life and had suffered a bereavement at the time. The only thing that cleared it up was antibiotics from the doctors. I tried everything else, no make up, all the spot creams etc etc and it wouldn’t shift.
