Hi all, I had my colposcopy yesterday following a hpv positive smear and abnormal cells. The doctor who did the test told me there’s actually nothing to be concerned about and everything looks healthy and to just come back in 3 years. I feel a bit nervous about this as I still have hpv. Is this standard procedure when they find no abnormal cells but hpv is still present? It was my first smear btw
