No sign of period after colposcopy

I had a colposcopy and biopsy last month and now this month my period is over a week late. It’s usually very regular and I haven’t had sex this month so not preg.

I had an ultrasound last week and she said she could see I had ovulated, so it doesn’t make sense that it hasn’t come? Should I be worried? Not sure if I need to contact the GP

unlikely to be related to colonoscopy - periods are sometimes late, and sometimes missed. It isn't something Id go to a GP about

sorry, just realised it was a colposcopy not a colonoscopy - still.

Were you particularly stressed out by the whole thing? (I know I was)

The colposcopy in itself I found fine, but I guess the stress of getting the abnormal smear and worry of what that means definitely did get to me - so quite possibly.

I just can’t figure out how I haven’t had a period if the ultrasound said I ovulated! Surely it’s impossible…
