I have a photo of what is happening and I'm horrified and scared.
About a week ago I felt discomfort sort of between the front and back of my private area. I assumed a spot or a scratch or something and ignored it. Over the week the pain has become quite bad, particularly as it's by my underwear line and walking/ sitting etc has become very sore. The area also hurts without all of this.
I haven't looked or told my partner until tonight and he suggested I just take a look to put my mind at rest and now I feel much worse.
There's 3 noticeable different coloured 'things' and I wasn't expecting it at all.
Background is clear sexual history (both of us) and never ever has this happened before,
I've obviously googled warts etc and it says there shouldn't be pain but there very much is.
So I'm asking if anyone has read this far, if this is something to cause undue worry over,
I'm so alarmed I've been very tearful, I couldn't even tell my partner what I found because I was so embarrassed.
I will attach a picture, I'm sorry. Thanks

hope you get sorted.

@mommatoone our sexual history rules this out.
Thanks to all, I feel somewhat relieved by these replies and I will look for somewhere now and get myself seen asap

With herpes it won't show up on any test. You have to have the sores for them to be tested. So I would defo go to the clinic. It can also take years for them to come out. A lot of people have them without knowing and that's scary.

mommatoone · 03/11/2023 09:03

OP - herpes can lie dormant for years. Definitely get checked out because if it is, you can get regular breakouts.
And as for the Poster who mentioned the word 'sinister', what a stupid uneducated comment!. People are trying yo help the OP here.
I have regular herpes breakouts on my leg and have done for 20 years - nothing sinister about that!

Burnamer · 03/11/2023 17:31

@mommatoone
it was the OP under a name change to @nxhxhb that used the word sinister.
I posted to say herpes is not

fsdhcdf · 11/11/2023 17:43

Just back for a quick follow up. I stopped replying because the 'sinister' comment was completely misunderstood and I was too stressed to explain what I meant.
I didn't mean herpes is sinister, I meant the implication that I could have caught it when I know I couldn't have would imply something sinister had happened with partner cheating or something like that.
Anyway, since posting this the sores spread to my legs and it all got very unpleasant and painful. I have about 8 now. I have been trying daily for two weeks to be seen, it's been a nightmare. Anyway finally got given a random appointment today at a gp surgery in another town used as a hub and he's almost certain it's diabetes ☹️☹️but obviously need tests to confirm. It hadn't occurred to me at all so I was a bit blindsided. Anyway, that's where it's at! Thanks for replies
