Lletz heavy bleeding

I had lletz for hpv infection cell changes and biopsy

On day 8 I started having excessive bleeding and had to have points on cervix cauterised. Bleeding has stopped now and home resting but utterly wiped out.

Still don't have results of biopsy but was told by gynae they didn't see anything that looked very suspicious so hoping it's good news.

This has been quite traumatic and exhausting- I'm going to take a bit of time off work as it's all happened during holiday time and weekend.

Just feel if I don't give myself a chance to rest and recover it will just get worse.

If you have lost a lot of blood you may be anaemic which can make you really tired and with zero energy. Be kind to yourself and I hope you feel better soon, and get some good news re your results soon.
If you continue to feel wiped out, see if you can get a blood test to check your ferritin levels

Thanks
Taking a couple of days but already feeling much better. Have antibiotics and will get another blood test done to check! Had anaemia previously so I know what to look out for.

Nothing to add but wanted to empathise - I found the LLETZ extremely traumatic (and I’m usually a brave soldier about most things) and didn’t have much in the way of bleeding! Sending good vibes for your results @gemini45
