Blood in urine

Yesterday evening I went to the toilet and noticed that my wee was pink

Thought I was due on my period so put a pad on

Went to the toilet again, and again more slightly pink wee. Nothing on paper when wiping.

No pain when weeing
No period
Only other 'symptoms' would be feeling exhausted a fair bit (I do have two young kids tho) and I sometimes get some pain in my pelvis like stiffness if that makes sense

Any ideas? I will call the Gp in the morning of course.

Probably a UTI lovely

Have you eaten anything with a strong red colour like beetroot or something similar?

Could be lots of things - uti, some sort of kidney bruise issue (any knocks to your back recently?), interstitial cystitis, thin membrane kidney disease (not as scary as it sounds at all).. I wouldn’t leap to assuming anything. (I’ve got blood permanently in my urine and had all the tests etc - it’s came back that I have thin membrane disease).

I've had this before, it was a uti.

just been to the loo and noticed pink stain to my urine. I caught a dribble of wee on a tissue and the blood is definitely from the wee.
I have no other symptoms of a UTI. I always thought blood was the the symptom you’d have as well as other symptoms, not just the only symptom.

I would definitely book a GP appointment :)
I went to the Gp after this and had no other symptoms. They did a urine test which came back no UTI so it's been sent to the lab for further tests. I'm also booked in for a blood test next week.
No symptoms other than blood in urine can be a sign of bladder cancer so please get it checked
