Had the mirena inserted around a week ago. Felt slight cramping at the time and the first day I took pain killers for mild pain.
I have now come on my period as expected. It is very light but I’m in excruciating pain (for two days now) I had to breathe through some of the cramping today.. have been taking pain killers of varying degrees throughout the day however can feel it coming on again tonight, it’s in my groin either side and the usual mid area.
I haven’t experienced since I was around 20 years old, I’m 33 now and have had two children.
Is this normal has anyone else experienced this? Does it continue because with this and mood changes it has sparked I’m considering getting it removed already..
